show me how 2 have my sever info message repeat on my server

:D can some one tell me how to have my messeages repeat on my sever like this other severs i play in for example a message will appear and it might say
**welcome to our clan sever blah blah ping and maps and so on blah blah**
and that will pop up ounce and a wile giveing info about the map rotation an sever info. that is a great feature and i would like that option to be on my sever so what is the rcon to do that or how do i add that to my own .cfg sever file that i made??

i would like it to say this ** Welcome to the west coast lan party new maps **

Autokick by CrowKing is the easiest.
I believe you can find it in the downloads section on this site....

intro. This guide also links to the download section. Here I have the guide and loc.txt file. This way you don't have to try and extract it from your pk3 file.

i know about those guids but where in the guid says to broad cast my messages i try to use the rcon motd and it dont work :evil:

download the autokick proggy its ace u can set the kick for high pings and u can have multiple announcements on ure server wow

Never have been able to get the MOTD to work. The one Rudedog is talking about is an edit to the localization file. We use it and it works great! Autokick works well but we've never been able to get it to cycle through different messages...but if you only have a single message you want to use, it may be easier as well as more flexible.

If you're running a Linux server, I have developed a messaging system that allows for some robust broadcasting options. You can specify an unlimited number of messages, customize the broadcast interval, and even introduce delays between each message line. If you're interested in giving it a try, let me know. It's not publicly available yet, but it will be soon.

Right now it's in beta because I keep making a lot of changes to the code. It's been really stable and has been offering, among other things, a customizable automatic TK protection to my TDM server that a lot of players seem to enjoy. Email me if you want to take part in the testing and I'll send you a copy.

It's almost ready for public consumption, so if you want to wait for the official release, it shouldn't be too long.
