Ik draai nu de AWE 2.0 mod maar in die mod staat dat je customlogo kan aanpassen. Onder in je beeld onder je compass staat de tekst http://www.awemod.com

nu wil ik die aanpassen naar de site van de server. Alles gedaan zoals in de config file van AWE staat. Maar nog steeds staat er die awemod.com. Heeft iemand hier ook problemen mee gehad en/of weet je de oplossing?

I run an AWE 2.0 MOD. The config file sais that you can change the little tekst in the lower left section of your screen while playing. Unchanged it sais: http://www.awemod.com but i want it to be changed to the clan-site.
I followed all the steps the config file told me to follow but it's still http://www.awemod.com
anyone else had this problem and/or knows a solution?

Open the file "z_aweuo_svr_v2.0_customlogo.pk3" (that filename might vary depending on the AWE version) with Winzip. Inside the file you will find a file called "_awe_server_logo.gsc"

Extract the file, edit it to your liking, then put it back into the pk3 overwriting the existing file.

all that i tried...did it over and over again...but the text just won't change...
but now i'm wondering...almost the first setting in the config file is: show awe logo...does that one has to be off to be able to show your own??

No, the "awe_show_logo" is for under the health bar, not the custom logo. You do have an "exec aweuo" in your main config, correct?

yes i have a exec aweuo...everything else works...only that tiny detail doesn't wanna coörperate...

okay i turned it off...but now AWEUO 2.0 in the lower right corner is gone...so that isn't what i was looking for...

i followed these steps and the original customlogo is gone...but the logo is still being used as it seems...how can this be??

Well, it appears that you have it set up as I do, except for one thing. I used the original name of the PK3 as follows:


z_aweuo_svr_v2.0_customlogo.pk3


instead of the "w_aweuo_svr_v1.0_myclanlogo.pk3" that's in the instructions. I figured that if someone came in with a V1.0 client, they would download the V2.0 anyway.

Try that...

i took the name which was allready in the aweuo folder...and that was indeed z_aweuo_svr_v2.0_customlogo.pk3

i used that name...sorry i forgot to tell
