Anyone else having problems with rcon status ? rcon cvarlist and others work just fine but status gives nothing (so kicking is hard :x )

Do you have a software firewall? I have same problem, and it is Nortans Personal Firewall. Just dont know how to fix.

Did you try this:

/clear

then try your commands

Apparently this clears the cache.

One of my clan members fixed his problem by using ASE.

No, I use hardware firewalls. I'll try /clear and let you know.

/clear didnt help. /RCON STATUS simply dont work inside the game.

dude /rcon status works just fine in the game
/rcon clientkick

Maybe a dumbquestion but are you sure you have your rconpassword set
/rconpassword blahblah
/seta rconpassword blahblah

Should work like a charm I used /rcon status just to make sure before I posted this

Well yes, I have it set with

/set rconpassword blahblah

could using /set or /seta make a difference ?

Holy crap - now it suddenly works !? Two things different, my TS not running and fewer players on server, but /rcon status suddenly works. :?

Ideas appreciated.....

I have the same issue. If I have alot of players, say more than 15 then status stops working. That is when Autokick stops working also.

Seems that COD has the same issues with this that MOHAA does. This one disappointed me big time.

Same for me. We get over 20 people on the server and /rcon status quits. Console receives the request and shows the computer IP making the request with -531 instead of the port number like this:

216.12.201.204: -531

when it should be

216.12.201.204:28960

Something is screwy with the code.
