only time i would get rid of it would be on team games
i only play behindenemy lines the funest game ever made
and deathmatch and i only run a 6 person server for me and my friends so camping sucks

Camping is a tactic known as an ambush. Its effective too.

I think that the killcam makes the sniper on a map worthless. Whats the point of having a sniper if you can bee seen as soon as you have your first kill. Pointless.

If you hate snipers too... (afraid to ask what else you hate about the game) then your truely a run-n-gun person. IMHO that involves no stategy what-so-ever ... charge !! Killem all !!!
Now tactics can still be built on this, but it seems (to me of course) that would have alot of deaths on your team...

I am a sniper and i love to stalk... i camp sometimes, but on an obj ... er... sd map i take my time and tactically advance.... This is one of the things that is great about CoD... i really feel like i am hunting, and that i could end up with a bullit through my head any second from another good sniper... it really adds a nice realistic edge to playing!

I think it all depends on your gaming style, Personally i like it cuz i usually only play s&D and retreival. . and once your dead it dont really matter what you see. . unless of course its a team match like you guys said. I guess its just a love hate kind of thing :?

True in a clan match it would make a big impact, but I think it makes a large impact to the game in general. Keep in mind alot of clans play together on non-match servers, and then there are groups of just friends who play together and use voice chat too. These guys will benefit from it and could very well exploit it. This is not to say everyone does it, but I am sure there are plenty who do. So thats where the problem lies. But over all I like the kill cam, it lets me watch players movements, to see if they are tracking you behind objects, etc before you get back into the fighting.

good point sitting duck i never thought about it but it is a heavy deturent for cheating seeing from that persons point of view if they were wall hacking ect would be easly seen and cought quikly

I agree, the killcam depends on the gametype. We play tdm right now so that is why we dont use it.

But then again text doesn't properly relay the emphasis of what we are saying. I am sure if we were on TS it would all make much more sense. I'd hate to think there was any bashing going on here.
