Download speed

Can anybody tell me how I can make the the downloads go fasters. Becacuse right now it's taking 3-4 min to download a 4mb map. Nobody going to wait around for that. I've been on other server and it download 1,2,3 any ideas or is just my server. Thanks for you time guys .

Use redirection, and put your maps on another server (like a web server). Search this forum for posts on how to do it.

For future folks in same problem

set sv_wwwBaseURL "http://www.global-army.com"
set sv_wwwDlDisconnected "0"

Just create a UO folder on your webserver and dump the customs in there and voila, high speed custom downloads.

ps disconnceted 1 or 0 is up to you.
