PLEASE HELP!!!! PROBLEMS WITH COD LINUX SERVER

Im trying to set up a CoD server on a linux machine, i have done everything that i need to do with the files but when i try to start the server it says:
Sys_error: couldnt load default_mp.cfg. Make sure Call of Duty is run form the correct folder.
I dont know what this means so please help, im only running it on 1.4 at the momment because i want to get it working before i update it.

That error means that you are missing one or more .pk3 files.

Review your install procedures again and make sure you copy all the appropriate files from your CoD install CDs FIRST before applying the Linux files to them.

Kind of sounds to me like you only downloaded the CoD server files.....

i copied the files from both cds then used the full linux 1.5 to instal the rest.
