Im trying to run a home server for United Offensive, but when its running it doesn't show up as one of the games on the internet menu. I set it to a pure server and dedicated internet. I get the console and its running fine. The only problem is that noone can join because it isn't showing up as an avalible game. Please help me.

Thanks in advance

If you are running your server on a private subnet behind a router or NAT then you'll need to forward port 28960 in your router to your server.

Your system will handle the server fine as long as it is a dedicated server (you are not trying to also play on it). Your problem will be with your internet upload speed on cable or DSL......

Again if you are behind a firewall or router using NAT, then you have to be able to forward the ports you are using to that computer. It will sometimes help to put your computer in the DMZ as well. As far as how you do those things, it is done in the router control, which is usually accessed via a web browser, usually through IP 192.168.1.1. But read your manual and it will give you complete details on how to do it.
