I just wanted to put some messages

and when i go in my server it says: "User has been permanently banned from this Game Server via PunkBuster ... GLOBAL PunkBuster GUID BAN e2730773"
How can i changed. I only want to messages show up for information about my clan :( :dis:

Please explain your problem better. It sounds like you're banned thru the global ban list though. That's bad... :wink:

Well i put out my dedicated server, i try to put a few messages, i add the command line in the shortcut "+set sv_punkbuster 1" and when i open the console then connect to mi ip server adress, when i get in it´s no longer 5sec when it says the message that i have ben banned for the guid.
It´s there a way to put messages without havin to enable or that can i modified to no request that information

Well, I have good news and bad news for you.

Good news: Your server is running OK, and it looks like your pb stuff in the server is working correctly too.

Bad news: The cd key that you are using in your game client has been globally banned by punkbuster for some reason, so you can only play on servers that don't have punkbuster turned on. To play on punkbuster-enabled servers you'll need to purchase another copy of the game to get a new cd key.

I checked the punkbuster global ban list at http://rep.punksbusted.com:9000/cgi-bin/bans.cgi/COD_pbbans.dat?key=3&remove=0 and found the following line.... Is that you?

Well, maybe someone got your cd key and used it, then got banned. There are cd key trojans out there that masquerade as CoD files... If you download them and run them they report your cd key back to the hacker. Also, if you're not protecting yourself with a firewall someone might have gotten your cd key through a share point.

Did you ever loan your cd to anyone? Did you buy it used?

You could definitely double check to see if that guid is yours. Just connect to a pb enabled server and then quickly do a /pb_myguid in your console and it will tell you your guid.

Global bans are issued by Even Balance for players caught using cheats that interfere with the operation of PB. There's no list of global bans published and support is only available direct from Even Balance.

You're confusing PunksBusted with Punkbuster. PunksBusted is a community site providing services that allow server admins to share their cheat bans, we have nothing to do with global bans.

From the IP info it's clear JLAN1 is using a leaked CD key, one that's obviously been used by cheaters, resulting in a global ban as well as a ban on our MBL.
