im looking for the server settings so i can redirect joining players to new maps and such. please help

i have copy/pasted your cfg commands to my config and changed the URL. it is still not working. I have tryed every combination posible of having quotes or not around the variables and it is still not working.wtf

i have got it working, pls post your cfg and the link toyour webspace, make sure you made the right folderstructure on webspace.

You'll have to describe your download setup: 1) the link you're using; 2) the directory structure to which your uo downloads are located

Make a folder on your site and call it uo. Place the pk3's you want to redirect in that folder. Now, lets say the file is at :

http://yoursite.com/shit/moreshit/uo/awemod.pk3

the http address in your server.cfg would be

http://yoursite.com/shit/moreshit/

That simple.

Can I see your guide? Never knew one existed. The http redirect is the same as ET, thats how we do it in that game.

lol. Good idea...but I doubt it highly. I have even tried linking the files but then it downloads the file in the folder it was linked to and you get an unoure client detection on pure servers and get disconnected on unpure ones.
