I have gone through about every thread in here pertainging to punkbuster and UO, and tried everything to get PB to enable, but it's not kicking on. This is the message I get when I restart the server:
PunkBuster Server: 0 Aliases Written to pbalias.dat
PunkBuster Server: 0 Stat Records Written to pbstat.dat
PunkBuster Server: Preparing to Disable PB Server... (C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\pb\)
Can someone help me? I don't know what I'm doing wrong or if I am doing anything wrong at all. Thanks, in advance to any help.

I do appreciate the reply, but the config file is already setup this way. It still does not fire. :? Can you think of any other suggestions?
How about you explain how you have everything setup, it's amazing how easier it is to help someone when you know what they've already done
i.e.
1. What is your server startup options?
2. What is the contents of your main server config?
3. What is your PB settings (pbsv.cfg)?

This is the pbsv.cfg
deleted per Clanwarz request
I do realize that these are probably messed up, but I'm new at this admin thing and that's why I'm posting.

I was looking at the pbsv.cfg and the server.cfg and they are the same. I don't know how that happened. This probably sounds stupid, but that again is why I'm posting.
My startup: "C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\CoDUOMP.exe" =set dedicated 2 +exec dedicateduo.cfg +map_rotate"
Let me add another question which may be cleared up once this issue is figured out. The max ping time is set at 300, but I have people on our server with much higher pings. Again, this may be remedied when the PB is working properly.
HELP ME!!!

Put this at the end of your dedicateuo.cfg file (after the maps):
//Start PunkBuster
pb_sv_enable //enables PunkBuster
wait //Required for proper start of PB
pb_sv_httpPort 8080 //Port by which you can access the PB remote management screen
the last line is optional...only of you want to remotely manage pb. Take thos same line out of your pbsv.cfg, and try it.

Thanks for the information. I will try it tonight. I will let you know how it turns out.
Thanks again.

Thanks Old Dog, this works great. Now the only problem is keeping people from being kicked for non-hack issues like: max rate exceeded. This just takes some reading.
I appreciate your help on this issue. If there is anything I can help with let me know.
Thanks again.

Where did you get that pbsv.cfg from?

I just pulled it from the regular CoD pb folder. Should I be using a different configuration? Any assistance would be great. Thanks.

Ya, Clanwarz, I was wondering the same thing...I've never seen a pbsv.cfg that had those lines in it... :?

That config is part of a config that is in the private game admin forums at www.punksbusted.com. I would appreciate it if he removed it. Shows a lot of what we are checking for.

Sorry, didn't mean to post something I wasn't suppose to. I hope I didn't cause any problems.
Did you mean remove from the thread or my config file as well? It has been removed from the thread already.

Is there a pbsv.cfg generator that I need to use? Again, any advise will be appreciated. Thanks

Dude, your thread is awesome, but you show too much of that config. The config is fine also. Just letting the cheaters see what we looking for , well then it defeats the purpose.

I understand, that was not my intent. If you want me to put the config back up so people can see, I will. If you want to email me and tell which lines to delete I will do so.
I'm glad to here that the cfg file is good. Is the server cfg suppose to be similar? I got to looking at both files and they are almost identical.
Thanks
