any information about cd key?

Hi,

Does anyone know of a way to find out a client's cdkey? Currently we ban problem players by ip address, which isn't too bad, but they can often get a new ip address via dhcp. If we could query their cdkey, that would open the door to more permanent banning.

I have a feeling Activision will be handling the actual CD key banning. So there must be a tie in with Punkbuster. I can't imagine they would allow any random server access to a players purchased CD Key. That would in turn force Activision to hand out new keys on a larger than normal basis....the claimant could acuse server admins of stealing thier keys.....see the problem? Anyways, I'm all for banning them by key vs. IP....dynamic IP's are too easy to change.
