Hi,

I am running a Linux Server behind a Linux Router.
I configured the firewall on the route to forward the specific ports to the internal gameserver.
I see the game server from LAN and can join him.
I can't see the Server in the In Game Server Browser but here:
http://inherent.infinityward.com/ the server is found. hmm?
I tried to connect via console (connect ip) and get many trys of connecting but no definitive connect.
I haven't found anything about this problem.
Have someone any idea?

I hope, geetz and thank you
Kray

P.S. If you need more Information pls say it.

Did you also open your firewall for the port?

Did you make sure your server port and your PC game port are NOT the same? (that is, make sure your gaming PC is not using the same port as your server)

Does your server console tell you it's resolving the master server ok and it's "sending heartbeat to codmaster.activision.com"?

Hi,

thank you for the answer first.

I opened all ports. I didn't make sure that my game PC and the server used the same port. Maybe that was the problem.
My console told my resolving the masterserver and send its heartbeat.
Anyway, now I installed a hardware route instead of the linux box and it works fine.
Is it normal that only 3 people can play fine on a DSL line?

You should be able to get more than that, but it depends on how fast your DSL connection is. Try benchmarking your connection using some online benchmarks (e.g. http://www.bandwidthplace.com/speedtest/ and http://www.dslreports.com/tools ). Don't expect to get more than about 6-8 people comfortably though.
