Where would we find this release?
I know that IW said one would be out but where ?

I have the game in hand and have installed it.
If some one can tell me the files needed to be extracted, I will be glad to tar it up for all who run linux and make it a public download.

Word from Ryan Gordon ( person coding the Linux server)
The server is going through internal testing at Activision right now.

They did this with the original CoD, too. My hope is it'll be available in a few days, but it's totally out of my hands.

I'll post a notice here when it's been released.

--ryan.

Ryan's comments about posting 'here" means his cod linux mailing list.

Do you have the address to get on his list?

This is a lame question, but how can I run coduo server?
Now I run my cod server like this: /home/cod/cod/cod_lnxded +sets gamestartup \"`date +"%m-%d-%y %T "`\" +set dedicated 2 +set net_ip 193.6.49.215 +set fs_basepath /home/cod/cod/ +set fs_homepath /home/cod/cod/ +set ttycon 0 +set com_hunkMegs "70" +set com_zoneMegs 50 +map_rotate >/dev/null 2>&1 &

What should I write to this?

No that's the original CoD linux file. This is where the file will be once it's released.
