Hi everyone,
Currently i have an E-Tech router with 2 pc's connected at it.
Now i want to setup a COD server at one of the pc's, playing on it also. The other is for my girlfriend.
I already have tried to open the 28960 port to my LAN adres but still no server on internet, LAN only. I even opened DMZ for my LAN IP and still no result(if i've done it correctly). I am trying now for two monts already and iam going a little bit crazy.
I've put in some pictures of my interface of the router software, maybe someone knows how to configure it the right way ????

If your config is set up properly with the Master Browsers:

seta sv_gamespy "1" //optional
seta sv_master1 "codmaster.activision.com"
seta sv_master2 "master0.gamespy.com"
seta sv_master3 "master1.gamespy.com"
seta sv_master4 "codauthorize.activision.com"
seta sv_master5 "codmaster.infinityward.com"

and you have used +set dedicated 2 on your CoDMP command line, it can still take some time for your server to be listed in the in-game browser, or GameSpy, or ASE, if that was your intent.

To check, you can use http://inherent.infinityward.com.

As to the ports, there are others. There are also tons of posts in this forum for setting ports. Do a search on "ports" and see a sticky post by RudeDog.

Kinda makes ya mad, doesn't it? All that tech sh*t.

Well, no worries, I have an E-tech modem also, finally got it working. For me the trick was to make a virtual server on the router, instead of DMZ. If you do that, and look through the posts here for the correct ports, it should help ya a little bit more :!:
