Hello All,

I am hoping you guys can help me out. I have uploaded the entire contents of both CD's to a Remote Server. When I try and install, everything goes fine until the system asks me for CD#2. I hit OK and I just keep getting the same message and cannot proceed any further.

What am I missing here?? It seems as though many of you have been able to install this game remotely with ease.

Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Do you have the 2 cds in two different cd drives? it may be looking for the second one in the drive as the first

Also, you can just manually copy the contents, keeping the file structure the same as if it was installed normally.

The easiest way to do this is to install it on your ocmp, rar it all up, then upload it to the server, just like the linux installs.

That should work.

I have uploaded the CD's to 2 different folders, keeping the file structure intact on each. When I execute the "setup.exe" in the first folder, it starts the install just fine. When the install gets to the point where it is looking for the second CD is where my problem starts. I cannot get past the "Insert CD #2 Message". When I click yes it just keeps coming up, so I end up having to abort the install.

We were lucky enough to get the Linux install instructions the day before release which were easily applied to Windows installs as well.

Create a subdirectory to install to (ie. C:\Program Files\COD).
Copy the contents of disk one's Setup/Data directory to your this directory.
Copy the contents of disk two's "Setup/Data/Main" directory to the Main directory which was copied from disk one (ie. C:\Program Files\COD\Main)
Create a shortcut to CoDMP.exe and modify the target line to something like the following..."C:\Program Files\COD\CoDMP.exe" +set dedicated 2 +exec server_dm.cfg +map_rotate
