1st the server is a rented Linux server, The command "banclient" was used and now I can't get him unban, I disabled punkbuster..he still gets " rejected connection from permanently banned GUID ##### "
I run the Unban Unnamedsoldier, I don't know if this worked yet. I did the PB_SV_Banlist and he was'nt there. There is no Ban.txt file on the server to edit. I also used the PB_SV_ commands with out any luck. I disabled PB and he still could'nt connect with the same Ban message. Where would the ban.txt be, and what name?
Thanks

The BAN.TXT sould be in /Main Folder.
pbbans.dat sould be in /PB Folder
I think it is PBBANS.DAT, Edit it and delite all name.
If still not working
A tempolare Ban is not listet.
look at your Pbsv.cfg in /PB Folder,
;Badname List - pb_sv_badname [grace_period_secs] [disallowed text]
pb_sv_badname 30 "unnamed"
pb_sv_badname 30 "penis"
pb_sv_badname 30 "adolf"
pb_sv_badname 30 "hitler"
pb_sv_badname 30 "cheater"
maby he use a bad name ;)

There is no pbbans.data or ban.txt on the server. the only thing PB list in there folder is "filenames".so files
these PB files are there:
pbag.so
pbags.so
pbcl.so
pbcls.so
pbsv.so
and a htm directory
Thanks

You need to look in the server's homepath, /rcon fs_homepath will tell you where it is.
By default it's .callofduty. The . denotes a hidden folder so you'll need to change directory manually in your ftp client to open it.

Yep, I made the that same mistake. We rent a Jolt server and if Jolt told me there was a hidden .callofduty folder, o how many hours I coulda saved !!

Again that's what the webadmin system is for, so you can ask. :)
