Getting SS from other servers

Hi dudes,
every now and then I get PB screenshots from other servers saved in my servers PB/SVSS directory. Anyone have any idea why? Did another server request a SS from them and when they finally transmitted they har moved to our server maybe?

I've seen that happen as well. Sometimes when I'm watching the console, I'll see a screenshot saved from soem random person. Yet I dont have auto-ss on (32man, no way im going through all those), nor did I request one from him.

Yes, this happens sometimes when a person is playing on another server when a ss request is sent, but before the pic is actually taken, they leave and join another server. Becuase their PB client has the command locked in memory, it still tries to transmit, but of course fails because the new server the person is on is not expecting it.

As a point of interest, not necessarily what's happening here, but this is a method cheaters sometimes use to avoid being caught. Their cheat notifies them of a screenshot request and they either quit before it's taken or join another server before it's taken (one of the cheats auto directs them to an IP). Keep an eye on the names/ips/GUIDS of these people to make sure they're not continually doing it - you'd know something was up if they were.

Well, it doesn't fail. It sends the SS to the new server they just arrived on, thats the issue.

On my server I rotate 500 screenshots but if this happens when a player comes from a server rotating 1000 screenshots it will ruin my file sequence.

I see it recorded in my PB folder, but the screenshot is not actually there - at least all the redirect ones I have are like that anyways. Guess it actually sends for some...

That is correct. See it in all PB games
