Basically stand over the player down and press the left mouse button. Sometimes it doesn't defib first time around so keep doing it until the player's dead icon disappears or you see them revived. If you do revive them you will notice they will go into a prone position with a pistol. They then decide whether to accept the revive or not.

Tip: before attempting to revive someone make sure that the area around them is clear. This is so that you don't get killed when reviving and the player you revive as well.

Medic packs are fairly simple. All you do is select them and they should drop at your feet.

Tip: drop plenty of medic kits for team mates and you will get more points in game.

General advice tips:

If you are playing objective game types such as Rush or Conquest then try and stick with your squad mates when going for the objectives. There is more chance that you will survive longer if you work as a team member instead of going Rambo all the time.

If you are not a medic and see one of your team mates who is a medic get killed, then swap with his/her kit lying on the ground and use the defibs to revive them. Not only do you get points for the revive but this helps with keeping the ticket count up.

Look at what kits your team mates have and also consider the map you are playing. On mainly infantry maps, I tend to stick to either assault or support. If there are a lot of vehicles in the map then I use engineer. But again look at what your team mates have. You get on better when one class compliments the other. For example on an infantry map, if your squad mate is support then choose assault to revive downed team mates. If the map has a lot of vehicles and your team mate is an engineer, then go support so you can resupply him when he is up against vehicles.

There is actually tones of learning for Battlefield that I gained from using VoIP and the above tips are only a few. With no VoIP in BF3 its difficult to type all of this out and get people to read it lol.

Support kit ammo pack + Support kit M224 = mortar rounds spamming

That's one weapon that definitely needs nerfing - reload ought to be at least 30 seconds or require a whole squad to operate like IRL ... though it is fun to sneak around behind their lines and knife them. They don't see you coming.

The mortars are a joke tbh. Last night there was a guy just sitting in his spawn protected area nailing the crap out of everyone. I eventually managed to get up the boundary area and lob a nade at him :). It definitely needs some sort of cool down period.

Also, does it seem odd that a player always goes 60+ kills per game in conquest? He never has more than 5 deaths. 74Rennuts is the players name..

If hes legit Im just trying to figure out how he does it..

It is possible and having people in your squad that play as a team can increase your chances of a higher K/D. His stats are here (http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/soldier/74rennuts/stats/335898860/). He doesn't have a great accuracy percentage but does have a high kill rate. He could be just camping at the right spots. I would have to see him play tbh.

Unacceptable

His K/D is 3.136,VERY high.Average K/D is .80-1.5 or so.

With no spectate, you can't say he's hacking, but I would ban him from our server & say "you are too good for our server".

These "pros" run off more average players, which is what I would want on my server.

60+ kills in Conquest? It's possible. Depends on what weapon/player/time to get the kills, though.

Yeah his K/D is high. One of the guys I play BF3 with is bloody accurate and gets good scores but even his K/D is about 1.9.

In all honesty he could be camping on a high ticket server. Not seen the high ticket servers yet but they could be out there.

server was 300 tickets, again today he never had more than 5 deaths and he scored 60+ every game. The next person on the scoreboard had 12 kills. He uses the M 249. Server admin finally kicked him because everyone left..

I have a bunch to learn in this game..

Oh another question.. Should I stay with one class and work on it or switch classes? Ive been doing support but the points seem hard to come by. I give ammo in squad and to team mates but it just seems to take a long time..

Thanks for info again:salute:

I think I mentioned this before, but look at what classes your team mates are and what map it is. If you are in a squad full of support then go assault especially in the smaller maps like Seine where there is action on just about every corner. Constantly drop medic kits near your team mates even if they have 100% health. This helps to keep you alive that little bit longer when under fire taking a flag.

If you are in a squad full of recon just leave and join another. 99% of recons sit on their ass and do nothing to help the team. Join a squad with a good mix of classes and try to stick together instead of going lone wolf. Don't get me wrong, you probably could get a lot of points going lone wolf if you are really good at the game, but if you are just new then it is best to stick with team mates.
