im trying to make my realism mod but when i put it on my server it not running i made it the same way i made my mohaas and mohaab and sof2 mods but for some reason it wont work looks like this user-realism.pk3/wepons/mp am i missing some global crap that allows it to run across the server or what ..... HELP ! i want to play but i wont play tht 15 shot kill crap hahahahaha

lol did you that wepons is realy spelt weapon who new right .......... so my mod does work im just a gimp .

any way this is what im going for



NO hip crosshair ! this mod will not be some run and gun bs this mod will take skill yay

hipspread while not moving wont be alterd just wont have the sight to aim with

hip spread moving extream you wont hit a thing stop aim shoot

mp localhit replaced with the sp localhit

more realistic recoil for the weApons no auto center

rifles are for acuracy mg are for up close and personal all weApons will kill in one shot to the head and neck and helmet

most guns will kill in one shot to the upper chest box and ill work on the rest off the boxes to make a fairly realistic

ill add bleeding when i figure out how to do it or some one makes a retail mod for it

and more when i think about or feel like doing it



AND RE MEMBER KIDS weApons HAS AN A IN IT SOMWHERE LOL !

Now if there was only a way to mod the jumping speed/intervals........My only true arguement about CoD is the ammount of Jumping Monkeys I see everywhere. I blame counterstrike of course. But I don't want to start a whole other discussion.

Its great to see other moders working on a realism project. I don't plan on working on one for CoD right now since there appears to be large enough force in that department. Good luck and I can't wait to try it out.

Scorpio has tweeked the gravity settings to limit bunny hoppers. I know how you ducks hate rabbits :P

ok so far weApons are now pretty mean 1 to 3 hits max for most guns if any where near a kill zone workin on the recoil its a bit tricky seeing as how there so manny variables to mess with in the weApon scripts i made the crosshair size 0 on all weApons but for some reason that doesnt want to go sever side so if any one can tell me where to find out how to get rid of the cross hairs ..im thinking that i could probly get rid of the target path but would probly just read it from the original pak increased the bolt action rifles to fire faster looks odd but i got a couple bolt action rifles and i can crank out the rounds pretty fast and im sure a soldier could do it faster hip spread on the mg's is increased to where you are lucky to hit any thing past about 10 feet with out sighting in and if you do sight in you aint going to do any sniping with them the balance between rifles and mg's is great atm you just have to decide weather you want range and accuracy or lots of lead flyin nades can now be cooked of course and they dont fly at moch 10 for 70 yards they lob quite nicely now i increased the dmg and radius on them as well and if any one can tell my how to get shell shock and bleeding on my server id be a happy camper pistols are in line with the rest of the wepons now 1 to 3 shot your dead i left the acuracy on them for defencive puposes for rifle users thats about all i can think of i just got to tweak the recoil a bit to even things out a tad even if i left it alone were its at would still be a hell of a lot better than playin for luck on all these run and gun servers

AND WHATS WTH ALL THE FLIPPIN PURE SERVERS ! ! ! WHAT KIND A MOD COMUNITY CAN WE HAVE IF NO ONE CAN EVEN HAVE A CUSTOM PAK ! SEND SOME CHEATERS MY WAY I NEED SOME COMPETITION ! AND THEY'LL STILL LEAVE TO JOIN A SERVER THEY MIGHT BE ABLE TO WIN ON hahahahhahaha i have to live up to my name ya know[/b]

Nice work Killmore, I would like to point out. An easier way to remove crosshairs instead of messing with each weapon.
I have it ready for relese as MMSRealismV2 ( no crosshairs or compass) Just like real war!!!!! As soon as my FTP gets running again :)

In the pak0.pk3 /ui_mp folder look for the file HUD. then edit as follows.

I agree! what is with all the sv_pure servers... this is no way to deal with cheating! get rid of it people! how will we ever have new maps, scopes, etc. with this crappy setting?

remember sv_pure makes sure you have the same pk3 files that are on the server.

so if a server runs a map or skin, you will be able to run that map or skin.

Your just not allowed to have a skin or modified pk3 file the server doesn't have

but if you goto a map from a server, then go to a server with out, the server with out it will kick you for not being pure.

I think we are getting a little off base on the subject matter gang. Until we have a decent security scanner the community will have to deal with the pure settings being on. Might I suggest making a seperate discussion regarding this?

Glad to see the realism mods are steaming ahead. I am sure alot of you have played the Red Orchestra full conversion mod for UT2k3? Well it has no compass, no maps, no reticle, and no ammo count, just clips. Its quite fun actually, but it was just a minor amusement till CoD came out.

Thier weapon/soldier class system is great, alot like DoD. I was really hoping they would have the limited number of weapon types made available for CoD.....oh well.

im not sure about this but ill try it out if sv_pure is ment to not allow custom pk3 then i could just put my skins in the original pak and it wouldnt read that i wasnt pure all my center iron sights are bright yellow so they dont blend into all the grey backgrounds

and any one who thinks thats cheating come over to my house and ill show you all my guns sights are painted with florecent orenge paint heheh a smart soldier once said if you cant see your sights you cant hit SH@t i dont know who or where but who ever and when ever he said it he was right lol !

Kilmore, are you going to unpack, then repack the original pk3's to modify your sights. I do not think that would work when logging into an sv_pure server. But, try it and Im sure we will get some good info about it.

you dont have to unpack nothing just open up your pak 4 copy it first to some dir them open up the original and go to skins and replace the original sights via cut to desk top and paste the new ones in very simple i modified a lot the original modles for mohaa the same way cause i was to lazy to make them pak files so and since they were the original modles i saw all the stuff i did to mine on every one else boris had a cracked bleeding head no matter who used him same with thte rest i made them all grungy and dirty looking i still got a copy of my whole mainta some where i painted the wall textures and what not with and all in the original paks
only reason for user_paks is to send them to other people to keep them small and for server side mods of course

if you modify a file in an original pk3 file then repack the file it gives you an error and kicks you off also when you go to sv_pure server... something about corrup file or something.........

yup i tryed it it scans the original paks for corupted or modded files
