Thoughts on the M320 Nade Launcher

I just got this and was surprised to find that you could either add it the rifle or carry it stand alone. Is there an advantage to adding it to the rifle (using the rail mount) or just having it? Seems like I could put some other device there if I don't attach.

Also, what kind of nades does it launch when you first get it?

I found the answer:



You can equip it faster if you have it mounted
Launches frag rounds when you first get it. You gotta get some kills on it in order to get the Dart and Smoke rounds.
