I have a hosted server that is run in Linux. When I reset the server in hopes of "rolling the log", it doesn't happen. Instead, the game log appears to open in an appended mode picking up where it left off. I use a stats package to read the log file and generate stats. So, when I'm done with a stats run I want to be able to reboot the server and have a fresh log. Is there a cvar for this? There was in mohaa but I don't see one for COD. How can I facilitate this. Permissions are an issue on the log file so simply ftp'ing in and deleting the file by hand are not an option. Thanks for any help.
