Weird Linux config problems

Some strange things happening.

When a config is executed some of it works, other parts dont.

The name is changed correctly
The map rotation is fine
PRM Realism loads fine

But

Anything relating to weapons seems to be ignored.

Trying to remove weapons does not work (i.e. Making it a rifle only server)

Anybody else had similar problems? i was tearing my hair out (what i have left) last night with this.

I setup a small config file the other day that used rifles only and it worked fine.

You must have configured the cfg file incorrectly for the weapons settings. I think in my short experience with these cfg files, if you have something setup incorrectly it would just ignore it and use the settings from your main server.cfg file.

In case you dont know, to disallow any weapons you just change the relevant value from 1 (on) to 0 (off).

With PRM you need to change the weapon limit cvars to do that.

I forget their exact name but the smg/mg/rifle limits. Set everything but the rifles one to 0.

Make sure your game server hoster has "fs_basepath" set at game startup.
