Need help with server (i m a noob at this)

1st HOw do i create a server for version 1.1 of COD and will it cost me ne money? Wut r the reguirements fo making a server (connection speed, etc.)? How do i kick or ban troublemakers and or idiots? Thanks 4 ur help!

Loaded question, but i'll take a stab at it...

- You can try to host the server on your own machine if you have a fast connection. I've hosted a 14 player server on a 256up/2000down DSL.
- You can rent a server if your connection isn't fast enough [shameless plug]My server hosting company will rent you a 16 man CoD for $36/month (US). [/shameless plug] There's many companies that rent servers.
- Does anyone still play 1.1 CoD? 1.4 is the latest version, i recommend using that because you get Punkbuster... which answers your other question about tools for kicking people. See http://www.punksbusted.com for good info on configuring PB.
