Banning Rcon Commands?

Hey All,

i finally found out how to do gravity/speed changes in the game (im slow...) and now all the people with rcon on the server use it and abuse it too much. Is there a way i can ban a rcon command? :?

Nope, not with RCON. Once you give RCON access, you give full access :wink:

However, there are a couple 3rd party programs out there that provide you what you want; they allow you to give specific command access to different people. I believe ServerWatch and Takai's (however they spell it) ServerScan both have such options; I don't have links but if you search the forums you should find them.

If you're running PB, you can use the player power feature along with pb_rcon to give people access to certain commands.

Example: Players with 80 power rating can do pb_sv_kick, pb_sv_ban, status, clientkick and banclient. (I personnally make admins use the PB ban/kick so the last two aren't available).
