Joking aside, if this includes the map packs:



If I get the premium membership to Elite, do I really get all of the DLC?

 Yes. Elite is an all-inclusive membership, and that means you get all of the playable game DLC for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 as part of your premium membership. No need to buy additional DLC.




Then it wouldn't really be bad for players that would buy all the map packs to begin with, of course that depends on what the monthly fee is. COD players will be getting map packs about every 3 months, until a new COD comes out, rinse and repeat every year, this is pretty much an MMO billing cycle without being an MMO.

also depends if they charge full price for the game if you subscribe also as mmo's expansions are never $60

On PC they should require everyone have it. That way the community isn't divided up into haves and have nots. The reason it works for the MMO model is because everyone has to pay to play.

Why do they want to half ass this? Make great content, make it fun to play and they will make tons of money from subs. Its that simple.

I am just wondering if, for example, I subscribe for 1 month at £5, download the DLC and then cancel the subscription, will I be able to play/keep the DLC? Especiallly if the DLC costs more to buy than a months sub.

Not that this is likely to happen for me ;)
