Hello,
My COD Linux server v1.4 is installed but not fully functional. It runs but I can't get a cfg file to controll the settings. I use run level 3 and try to exec dedicated.cfg from the game console. It seems to be read but the settings don't change, like sv_maprotation, sv_hq_timelimit, etc. I have tried puttng my settings into the config_mp_server.cfg file it the directory named main. It says it is read during game startup but the values are not used.
I am a newbie to Linux and COD. I searched for an example setup but can't find any and Activision says it doesn't support the Linux server.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
