View Full Version : Firewall Problems
I am having problems with getting my server through my firewalls and I would like to know if someone could help me? I have a D-Link DI 604 Router that has a built in firewall and a McAfee Firewall, if that helps. I already opened ports 28960-28966 on both firewalls and it still it can't get through. I also opened ports 20510 and 20500 (on the WAN side), and, as you probably guessed, doesn't work. If someone could please help me it would greatly be appreciated. :(

Why two firewalls? Disable the Macafee and it will probably work.
I did allow my server fully through the McAffe firewall and here's what I did with my router firewall...
Special Application
(Special Application is used to run applications that require multiple connections.)
Enable or Disable- Enable
Name- Call of Duty Server
Trigger Port- 28960-28966
Trigger Type- Both TCP and UDP
Public Port- 28960-28966
Public Type- Both TCP and UDP
Special Applications List
Name***************Trigger*********Public
Call of Duty Server**28960-28966****28960-28966
If you have any suggestions on what I should do please tell me, thanks. I would really like to be able to host a server from my computer. Also, you asked "why two firewalls", and the reason is becuase I need my router to connect my other computer to the internet and such.... and it just so happens that it has a firewall in it.
