PAM MODIFICATIONS

Hey guys,

I really need help modifying PAM pk3 files to customise to my own clan.

I've tried many times with winzip and wordpad but my newly created PK3 files never work or worse, crash the server. I must be missing something.

Is there a guide on how to do this somewhere or can someone please assist me?

Hi there :wink:

Now that you're here, I can be of more help.

Using WinZip
1. Create a copy of the PAM pk3 file(s)
2. Open the PAM pk3 and extract the PAM file(s) from it, ensuring to extract with the same folder structure it uses.
3. Edit the extracted files as desired
4. Now drag the extracted folder(s) into the PAM pk3 you have open in WinZip
- This will replace the existing folders & files in the mod with your updated ones.

Note: This method applies to editing any and all pk3s.

Alternatively, you can download pakscape and use it to edit or create mods - it's available from downloads.com (http://www.downloads.com).

Like I said over in the PAM forums, editing PAM is not permitted by ANY League. If you do this, you are on your own...

cant belive it was that easy...i was on the right track just didnt save the correct folder structure.

Oh btw...the only things I changed were adding my clan name and changing warmuptimes etc. But GA administer their league matches on their own servers.

Any games we hold on my server are simply scrim matches with the same settings as GA...without the 2 minute warmup time. It has nothing to do with the leagues.
