Im having problems with traffic to my server, on my old one i ran custom maps only and it was always full. now that i have upgraded my server and its stock maps only nobody comes onto it.
I can play on it with a few clan members and im lucky to see 1 or 2 people join, any ideas on how to improve my traffic?
thanks

You can not really look at stats in that way unless you filter out the private and passworded servers, also servers that are run at home will generally have a fairly high ping if more than a few players are in them and no one else will join them typically so those would have to be filtered out. So the stats don't tell the whole story.
Anyway, do you have a dedicated server supported by a host? Or are you running this on a server at home? That will make a diffrence.
If it is hosted, often the location of that host will matter to a degree. For instance if you have a server host on the west coast, it might ping well over there but on the east coast it would be higher (not always, but normally), so they would probably opt for a diffrent server. I have found centrally located servers are best, but that's just an opinion really.
I noticed you said " I can play on it with a few clan members" It really takes some dedication and hard work to get a server going for most clans. This means the team spending quite a bit of time in it playing and fairly consistently and not just waiting for someone else to join. Jumpstarting the server should be a clan wide commitment. Over time people will join and if they have a good time they will add it to their "favorites" list. If they don't they probably will not do that.
Lastly have you checked to make sure your server is showing up on the In-Game Browser, Gamespy and ASE. If not you will want to do that. I see this happened after an upgrade so maybe your not in one or two of them now, just a thought.
If you give us the IP we will check it out for you, that might help.

No i have an Uber Server With Jolt, the ip is: 195.149.21.16:26980.
Its showing up in Gamespy and ASE.
I always have at least 2 Clan Members on the server but as you can imagine after playing a few hours by themselfs it gets boring.
The problem with getting clan members on it is that we have 4 servers and 3 are mohaa so we dont have many CoD players because we cant get people on wanting to join.

Anybody found any problems with whyim not getting people on my server?
Building traffic is tough to do. Keeping traffic can be even tougher.
This is how we did it and are doing it again with a new server. BTW, we run 100% custom maps as well. As was stated above, the main thing to do is play on your server. You need to get a couple of peeps to join you for several nights/days in a row and jam for a couple of hours. Plan on doing this for a couple of weeks. If you are doing this now and still not getting peeps to join then you might try switching out maps or changing the game type. It also could be the mod you are running. Maybe peeps that would visit your server don't like that particular mod. You might also want to make sure that Downloading is turned on. you can pretty much bank on No Downloads = No players. Be careful though, If your maps are huge the download will take longer and the players will bail. We try to run smaller maps that can be downloaded before the game is over. Another thing that worked for us was running a pure server. Pure is turned on by default. If you are running unpure then it may not be seen by potential players that don't know they are looking at pure servers only. Another thing you can try is to put a catchy name for you server in the server browser. You might want to color it too...something bright that stands out. Try posting in other forums about your server. Invite other clans to come over for a get together frag fest. Ask the players that join your sever what they think about the maps/mods that you run. If no one likes the server setup then you are pretty much hosed.
Hope this helps...
