Total War Mod question, quick reply needed. thanx

Hi all, im just about to put the TW mod onto server, but i dont want to fill up my dedicated.cfg file.
so, wot i want to no is, if i put this command,

exec TWMOD.CFG

at end of the dedicated.cfg file and make the TWMOD.CFG, will it run that .cfg or not.
if u now wot i mean and no the correct way to do it, please tell me A.S.A.P as the server is down and i'm getting threating msn's :P

ps also, does it run for DM and is there a certain version for 1.1, or can i use any one of the versions.

right after a lil' bit of faffing about, ive had the sever updated to 1.4.
