remote access assistance

our clan recently rented a server. since we are all noobs to this we're having problems changing server settings, adding mods, etc.
our clan leader is out of town for a few days so i thought i would try to access the server remotely. i did. upon leaving the game i typed in "quit" from the command screen. now our server is DOWN!! does anyone know how i can get it back up again?

Your server company should've given you a web acces so that you can restart your server, if not call them so that they can restart it, if not change server company, I know some good ones and cheap ones if you want.
