what has everyone done for log file rotation as mine has grown to 20meg and feel that is just too big to do anythign sensible with?
Do you just ftp it off the server then delete the log file and start again?
Have you got any tips for creating log files that are smaller i.e. one for each week, day, or match.
i was wondering if i could pass any variables into the command line when i start a server that would create the log file with a time stamp? sort of set g_logfile %Y-%M-%d-cod.log
This is on linux based server.
