How the heck do I do it????
I dont have access to our dedicated server's cd rom drive (obviously) I cant seem to make an iso without getting some kind of error, with Nero, CloneCD, GameJack.. etc.. So I upload the entire 2 cd set to our server. How can I install the game without having the program ask for a cd rom after the first cd installation?
Or Do I even need to install the complete game? CAn ANYONE help me out here.. My head is going to explode!!!

Well my friend make ready for some hardship lol. We had to do the same thing. You can actually just upload all the game files and run CODMP.exe but it will make it hell on you to update.
So we took cloneCD made the ISOs I think its .ccd files or something (there will be 4 files and yes you do want to create cue sheets). Then we setup virtual CDROM on the dedicated server with daemontools. Cant rember where to find it but do a search on yahoo or google. Then all you need to do is install. I had two remote connections open one VNC and one Terminal Services. I used the VNC to install the game seeming that TermSer does not support 16bit color mode. I used TermSer to change the cds. Basicly all that happens is you right click on the system tray of daemon select your iso and insert it :)
So mess around with it hope you get it to work, just play with it. It took me a while with all the uploads and trying to get it to install right, but its working now :)

You use a dedicated server which doesn't require a cd key.

Dedicated servers don't require the cd..... just add +set dedicated 2 to your command line.

What most people do is zip up their installed COD dir. and upload it to the server. But as a few have mentioned it is a pain to update since COD looks for the installed game. But there are a few tools available that will allow you to make a zip copy of only the files that are changed in the update. This is very useful for time like this ;)

Ded. servers do not need the CD. You simply need to upload (remotely) or copy the CD contents to the server.
To get past the upgrade issues, I would copy all the CoD reg. settings and add them to the ded. server (if your running windows) Then the update installer would work.
Again you do not need any type of non-cd crack or mount the folder. simply start the server with the -dedicated 2 switch like mentioned before.
The PITA part is uploading all those files over the network

One problem is any updates will look for registry settings on the server. Simply copying the files into the proper directories won't work. You will still get the "Cannot find COD install Directory"..
I'm not at liberty to give out the tools required to "capture" the needed install files and place them into a tidy .zip folder but I'd be happy to put up links to upcoming zipped updates when they are released if that is ok with the mods.
