I played the demo and was way too under whelmed to buy it.
Didn't like the over the top arcade style graphics, the almost total lack of destructables, the players seemed to move awkardly - not very smoothly. The explosions were lame as well. The kill streak rewards were way over the top… If you were on a team that was getting rolled you might as well leave. I hated that about MW2 and it was worse in a few of the rounds with MOH. Spawning into a bombing run, arty attack, ect… for like 5 spawns in a row was too much for me. I felt the "deathmatch" mode had way too many players on the map to even be fun. The Helmut valley map was the best game play.
I don't know, just nothing to keep me coming back.
I still play COD4 and rarely play MW2 (too arcadish as well) but BFBC2 just draws me in every time… Like COD4 did.
I think COD:BO will be way to over the top in arcadish graphics and too many weird and wacky ways to kill someone for me to enjoy it.
I was playing BFBC2 the other day thinking about how I would like to have a claymore to keep the enemy of my back but then I thought, “Man, I am glad I don’t have to run into them all the time”.
Nope, I’ll stick to BFBC2. I hope they do BF3 up right as well. I hear a lot of good rumors from that camp.

Other than the constant crashing to desktop I enjoyed the combat mission mode. There are aspects I dislike but I am done with COD. Now if someone can answer question for me. Will there be rcon in game? I hope we don't need some third party stuff. If anyone knows more please post.

Thanks Kalms.. By your answer Do you mean that we will need a 3rd party program? Also, for me as an individual the one glaring issue I had with the beta, which stopped me from enjoying it, was the constant crash to desktop issues. Was this addressed and was it fixed? Thanx for all your info..:salute:

Who can tell? If we are to go on previous performance of games with MoH in the title then this is not looking good. The first PC title was the only true hit this franchise had. I came to MoH with Breakthrough. By then there were grumbles, Pacific Assault bombed, Airborne was a complete and unmitigated disaster.

If previous MoH titles can not be used to tell us what it will be like we must turn to who is making it and why!

We have an idea why it has been commissioned by EA, they have seen MW2 and want part of that action. They have marshalled their strongest assets to build a MW2 beater. For the first time that I can remember the single players and multi player are made be different company's using different tech.

They have slapped a memorable title on it, given it to their strongest team. Most people are working on the assumption that as the MP game is being made by DICE it will be very much like BC:2. It is also suppose to be a MW:2 beater, so that might give a pointer. It then boils down to if you like BC2 and MW2?

I think after the beta and how bad it was everyone is waiting until release to see if they really did fix the game. I know I am, $60 is a lot of gaming money to waste on a sub par game expecting it to get fixed.

I got burnt like this with APB, everyone was all hey man all mmo's start like this they are gonna fix it don't worry. They fixed it alright. Screw that!

I really want to support the team and re-buy it (I canceled my preorder) but without another beta I am gonna wait and see what the real gamers say. If it holds up to their standards, and not those of thumb monkeys who think almost every game is awesome then I will buy it. Again. :p
