:?
Last night playing fine in my clan. CD key is authentic, game paid for. Never had issues. Now, since this morning, 1st attempt was over 750 times to authorize. Stopped, took a bat and beat the ground 750 times....Went to multi options and rekeyed - said key was valid. Stumped and pumped. What to do?

PART 2
This is crazy...I just did "another" reinstall of the game, this time cleaning out my registry etc. - a waste of time. Could this be router related? It worked last night. This could drive me to !!!

Router has dmz open, all ports that I know of open, virtually destroyed the firewall. Never had a problem.

Norton - whether disabled or enabled, doesn't matter. COD authorized completely.

Reinstalled 1.2-1.4 patches with new install.

Doesn't matter if I use ingame multiplayer to play internet or All Seeing Eye - same thing happens.

FINALLY -
CD Key authorizing STILL "hanging", even with pure virgin main folder with all patches installed - from fresh install - on every server I go to. No Mods, nothing extra.

Help....please
MANY HUMBLE THANKS IN ADVANCE...I THOUGHT I KNEW MOST OF THIS STUFF.... :x

I'm having the same trouble here. Neither of my two legal copies will allow authorization or update the server info on our broadband ISP.

I can, however, access games on my dialup ISP.

We have another post describing these exact symptons in our forums. It must be an IW problem, or some internet related problem.

All week long some players on our server (Dallas based and connected to 4 major backbones) have been having erratic pings.

ok i dont know if the same prob but you guys might wanna give it a try ....

my clan m8 had the same prob... so he went and allowed the CODMP.exe in his firewall settings still no luck... then he noticed that the older versions of hes exe s(from 1.2,1.3) were still stored in the firewall so he deleted all entries of cod and rebooted and readded the new CODMP.exe ... it worked ...
