Help me get this crap off my screeen?

Ok, long story short, I've been searching all day, and I think I found the answer. I'm trying to make a movie, but in order to do so, I need all the text off my screen while in spectator mode. I've got everything else off besides the word "spectator". I found a command that is supposed to work (/cg_draw2d 0), but when I enter it in the console, it comes back with "/cg_draw2d is cheat protected" Ok, so my question is wtf do I do? Is there a different command? I'm not searching anymore, because I've been searching all day. Post up if you know a def. way to get it off my screen.

just a guess, but i'd say you need a server with sv_cheats 1
