Hello, hello,
I have the following question : I am busy setting up my server and I want to set up 1 private slot on it.
My questions now are :
- what configs do I set in the server.cfg? (number and private password?)
- how do I configure my own PC, so that when I log in on my server, I go directly to the private slot?
Any help will be greatly appreciated :!:

Sorry for the noob question but where do you set the password on the client side?
I have it all set up on the server side but can't use the slots because I am not sure where to add the private password.
Thx in advance.
As a client, you simply bring down your console and type:
/password "whatever the server password is"
This works for private passwords as well as if the server has a global password.
If you look at my RCON Guide, the very first section shows you how to create a shortcut for your CoDMP.exe and to add command line options. This is what I use; I have several shortcuts for the different servers I administrate. The other options are to: 1) bring down your console and enter the password before you join the server; or 2) try to join, then bring down your console and enter the password, then type /reconnect.
Either of the above 3 options work...
