PC May 4th and the PS3 (US) worldwide, PS3 Aus/EU May 5th

This expansion pack must be free on both platforms as they did not give any cost assoicated with it via their press release. They did say, "For more information, check www.modernwarfare2.com (http://www.modernwarfare2.com/). "

There is no info on Modernwarfare2.com - go figure.

We have yet received a reply to our inquires about the cost of this expansion pack for the platforms mentioned above. Update: Activision does not have any pricing available yet.

- In other news,Farmville creator Zynga beats Infinity Ward, in this years Escapist Magazine's March Madnes bracket competition.

- Modern Warfare 2 has dropped to the number 2 spot in PC online MP stats (via steam).The 6 year old Counter Strike Source is back at number one.

It would be pretty unprofessional of IW not to state a map pack price for pc and ps3, but then again, is that unusual of them..
I tweeted Rob Bowling about the pc map pack and whether it will cost money. He has not got back to me yet.
I would be surprised if the ps3 dlc was free considering the xbox guys paid ?15. Would you pay money to get early access to dlc?
At the end of the day I expect them to charge for all platforms.
After all. they only made one billion dollars + on game sales so far..

Free on PS3? I dont think so. And i bet you it wont be free on PC either - Steam is controlling this remember.

LOL, probably why there having a free weekend, to see if they can snag a few more purchases before they let out the pack prices.

Yep - this is turning out to be a Hack - Modded server festival this free weekend on PC! A soft, VAC Chaos enables the Dev console again and disables VAC so you can imagine the result...

IW Forums are full of angry peeps :D (well its always like this anyways). Once you get a free play the price of the PC version suddenly drops to 50.99Euros instead of 59.99Euros ....

I'm sure it's not free. It's interesting that they announce it less then a month away via a press release but don't/won't mention the price.
