I run the "not released" version linux server version. Runs pretty good for not being available.

I do too. From what I've gathered, there's two issues with the Linux server which will be fixed when it's official. The first is that it runs on net_port plus one (ie. 28961 if you don't specify a port). The second issue is that if you jump on someone who is prone, you'll be hurled into the air so high that you die when you land. I haven't tried this yet, though. Sounds like fun. :lol:

As for the port, just make it 28959 from the start and it will goto 60 after the error.

I've tried the hurl thing. I'ts not just a Linux server issue I believe, as I believe the night we became aware of it it was on a Windowz box.

well i just got my hands on the "unreleased" linux patch, if i wasnt so tired id prolly set it up tonight. From what ive heard the bugs arent that bad, and something is definately better than nothing. . its sad that imma have a linux version of cod running, yet im still waiting on a damn linux patch for moh breakthrough. . im soo glad the guys at IW went to activision instead of EAGames, seems the quality and support have been ten times better than either expansion for moh. . . You guys at IW made a smart move :!:
