Does anyone have a list of exploitable cvars we should be monitoring? And even further, what the acceptable ranges are for those variables.
For example, a well known exploit is setting the com_maxfps to an extrodinarily high value as it effects the physics of the game just enough to get you to places 'normal' settings would not get you to (jumping). Is there really any other reason to get more than 90FPS? You can only see 30FPS, and 'feel' about 65-70FPS....
r_gamma might be another one to watch, but I am sure there are more. Anyone?
As I mentioned in another thread:
Please don't set limits to r_gamma; that's ENTIRELY a user preference. If they want to walk around with the sun in their eyes effect, let them. Besides, everyones system is different. On my old system, I used to have a gamma of about 2.6 to see anything; with my new system, I run at about 1.4, 1.5. Besides they can easily adjust the brightness on their monitors to achieve the same effect.
Now, as for other settings, I was thinking of using the cvars being checked by Reverend for MOHAA, or even those from ET based configs; they all essentially have the same cvars.
I suggest we wait and see what the AC people for the various leagues or cheatpolice come up with before we start messing around with this stuff.

www.punksbusted.com has a cfg that appears to becoming the standard. There are some interesting threads on their forums about cvars such as picmaps and fastsky
*cough * This is over a month old * cough * :8!:
