Getting kicked with same guid on the same server?

Me and my brother are playing with the same cdkey, on the same ip. Now with this stupid 1.4 patch we are getting kicked by punkbuster if we are on the same server :( Can i disable this on our server somehow ? As i don't want to buy another cod :S

Fist lets get the disclaimer out:
You should be each buying a copy of CoD.

To enable PB you use
set sv_punkbuster 1

So I would assume
set sv_punkbuster 0
would disable PB

Again, you should purchase a second copy of CoD.

yeah right 2 cod's for 1 house :S sucks. disabling punkbuster is not an option :( you can't disable the function of pb that it kicks players with the same guid ??

I would assume you should but until evenbalance adds info to their CoD section (http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=support-cod.php)

You can try the Quake/RTCW manual for PB located here (http://www.evenbalance.com/publications/admins/index.htm#commsettings)

yeah, ive been looking all around for CoD PB admin commands, but havnt been able to find any :( hope they update the infor for CoD soon

ta for that. I had found those links before, but wasnt sure what the deal was with using those commands with CoD. Never had to use PB before :) anyway, tried em, all works very nciely. Yay for PB :smile:
