Setting a rcon password

Okay Guys, I am trying to run a dedicated server for a few friends. The only problem I have is....what is the command to set the initial rcon password? I've checked the rcon manuals and cannot find it.

set rconpassword "whatever you want"

in the console type:

/rconpassword "xxxx"

Okay how about this one........Can I use Smart FTP to set up the dedicated.cfg file on the dedicated server that we have running.......If I can how do I set a Login and password for it......any ideas. Note.....we are running it on a friends computer....and it is running as a dedicated server.

Sure, but your friend is the one who has to setup FTP access.
