Annoying auto balance

COD5 TDM Auto balance is really annoying. We keep getting notifications in large white fonts right in the center of the screen which hinders vision and is downright frustrating. It wouldn't be so bad if it just popped up now and again saying teams have been auto balanced, but it continually warns of impending auto balancing as well.

Is there anything that can be done either server side or client side to either move this text away from dead center of the screen or else remove notification entirely without losing the auto balance function?

I know there is a command you can bind to change the chat HUD position client side, I just can't find anything to move/remove these announcements.

That maybe a hard coded server side. Changing it would require a mod. Only way to remove the message would be remove team balancing. Know you wouldn't want to do that.

I'm not that familiar with COD, only MOH scripting. But I'm pretty sure it would take a mod.

Also the size of the writing may be a product of your screen rez.

not for team balance, either turn it off or leave it on.

run a mod and most mods - awe, svr, extreme, ace - have a setting to turn off/leave on the announcement.
