Hi,

I've built a new stats generator for COD. Its a very flexible templated based generator - anyone that's used a blogger like moveable type will know what I mean. It's a .NET based program so you'll need the 1.1 framework installed - it'd be interesting to test it on a Linux host with Mono too!

It's in pre-beta testing at the moment, and I'm looking for some beta testers that can

1) Put it through it's paces
2) Come up with suggestion in improvements etc
3) Design some seriously good templates as examples for the release version!

You can see a sample of the output at http://jason.hylandfamily.org/beta

The template the produced this is http://jason.hylandfamily.org/beta/TotalStyle1.tpl

If you'd like to help, please email me at jason@hylandfamily.org.

Regards, Jason

Very nice job. I do not wish to participate in the beta but I do have a suggestion if that's ok.... virtually all the weapon pics could stand to be samller.. Might help in the spacing of the cells.

Also the hit zones cell lables are confusing such as "Deaths From Hits In" and "Damage Received In As %". Might come up with a simpler set of labels.

I like the top 5 stuff..thats cool.. as well as the Kill % meters and the hit zone pics, nice touch.

but hey.. must of that is nit picking really.. great job overall.

Thanks Sully - no Perl, it's a .NET program, so all it requires is the .NET framework - I can provide a build with or without the framework, although most XP PC's will already have it.

I'll mail you shortly with details.

Thanks.

Momma, thanks for the feedback, always welcomed! Yeah, I agree there's lots of room for improvement with the templates. The great thing about the template approach is that all of these suggestions can be implemented within the templates.

Thanks, again, all template driven :)
