Un banning players

Someone was perminantly banned from our server by mistake using HLC RCON 4.1

How do you un ban them ?

Well there is an unban command. I believe the console command for doing it is simply

/rcon unban <name>

If you have problems you can always go into the ban.txt file on your server and remove them.

Also if you have FTP access to your server there will be a txt file called ban.txt in the Main folder for CoD. Open that and it will list player nic and GUID etc. And you can just delete the entry. I would make sure you don't leave spaces between entries after removing the player just to be safe.

Hey, I got a question. My co-founder is running our server and he banned a player as a joke using the 4.1 rcon program. The problem is that now he can't get the player off the ban list. He clears the ban list but every time the server is restarted or it becomes a new day, the player is put back on the ban list. He is too lazy to find out how to permenantly remove the ban list and he won't listen to anyone who is willing to help him. I have tried to remove the player from the ban list with no success. I have tried the /rcon unban <name> but it did not seem to work. Does the name ahve to be colored like the players name? Is there any other way to unban the player? Any help would be appreciated.
