The UK games market is hellishly competitive. We pay less for games here in the UK than rest of Europe.

Well it has started, The race for sales to see who can sell MW2 for the least amount! to see who can secure the remaining MW2 PC sales.

Google Shop Result (http://www.google.co.uk/products?q=Call+Of+Duty%3A+Modern+Warfare+2+PC+gam e&hl=en)

The cheapest is from a retailer I have never heard of at £24.99 The big difference is until recently no one was discounting below £34.99. Now there are several willing to sell at or around the £30 mark (that is about $49 or €32)

I knew that there nerve would break, with the cancellation of pre-orders. I guessed that it would be here in the UK first. Lets see how cheap this game will be after the initial sales are over and we get into the overstock situation. There are going to be a lot of full shelves in stockrooms.

Coolshop was £23.99 for a long while before it went up to £24.99 a couple of weeks prior to the "annoucement"

It is because all products come from ASIA. :undecided
I think it is not a problem of full shelves in stockrooms.

In september the price was near of 30€ on UK retailer.

But even if the price shutdown again, I WLL NOT BUY IT because I WANT DEDICATED SERVER AND MODTOOLS. :salute:

My friends and i were a bit suspicious of coolshop as thier prices seemed much cheaper than all the rest but one guy took the plunge and ordered from them anyway using his credit card.

Seeing as we will never know how "reliable" coolshop are now he has cancelled his order, i was wondering if anybody else had any feedback.

thx

Interesting info and will be more interesting to see what the game sells for a week after release.

This will be our only indication on sales, as IW will never release that info to the general public.

until next year when they drop the PC platform because of weak sales.

Coolshop is a Danish corp. and have been around for years. They are trying to get into the UK marked and have just launched the site in the UK.
I have bought mostly all my games at there Danish Shop. I can see they sell the games cheaper at the UK shop. So concrat on that. ;)
But I also canceled my preorder. IW are on the edge to total disaster sales for PC games.
