only 60fps on cod w@w

despite having:

quad core 3.0ghz extreme processor
3gb 1066 ddr 2 ram
striker extreme motherboard
nvidia bfg 2gb 295 card 295 with driver 9062 latest one 17/08/09
1kw power supply

i only get no more than 60 fps no matter what server i use, any ideas on how to improve this

i have 19 processes running in memory on windows xp pro sp3 (just windows starts up basically along with whats needed) so there is no performace problems in terms of anything else i play or use. however my ping on the main server i use, clan dhd, averages at 160-170 could this also cause this? i have tried to use \com_maxfps 333 but still makes no difference.

Do you have vsync enabled? If so thats the problem.

If I remember right the game is limited you have to use a command to release the fps limit.

It was seta com_maxfps "250" with CoD:4
