Server specs

Hi all im new here. My question is if i was to use a linux server with cpanel & 2.5Ghz Dual core Xeon with 2 GB ram and 160GB harddrive with 10 Mbps Data Pipe connection how many cod4 servers could i have on there and how many slots per server could i have?

I.e 10 servers with 20 slots on each servers.

Hello,

Cpanel consumes a great deal of resources by itself so you would be very limited on running game servers. I'd estimate possibly 2-3 medium games can be loaded before you start to see issues.

Renting game servers per slot is usually cheaper unless your wanting to host multiple different types of games in which case a dedicated server makes more sense from a financial stand point.
