This Operation Flashpoint Dev Interview (http://www.incgamers.com/Interviews/210/IGTV-Operation-Flashpoint-Dev-Interview) offers a video conversation with Tim Brown about Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising along with a transcript of the chat. As this video demonstrates, the developers went out of their way to capture the sounds from the real-life counterparts, ranging from weapons to vehicles. Sound engineers even went out to record birds so that the true-to-life chirps can be heard in the game. In development for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Dragon Rising is due October 6.

Do you envision OFDR game play as closer to ARMA, BF2, or CoD:MW?
The reason I ask is that I find the videos and concept behind this game very interesting but I usually don't have hours to dedicate to a match. I'm mostly familar with CoD and was wondering how everyone would describe the game play in this game.
Misnomer

Everything we see puts it in a middle ground between BF2 and ARMA2. Though, with only 4 player co-op and possibly being smaller in scale than they are telling us (according to rumor) it may be closer to BF2: Special Forces meets COD5 CO-OP (an oddly intriguing concept).
Hard to say at this point, most of us are waiting for reviews or a demo because our hopes are high....and we know what that means. cough::FarCry2::cough.
