Once again the PC world gets the shaft and this time by IW and Activision, they have dropped the Hardened Edition(Collector's Edition) for the PC so now its only the reg Edition that's available, but of cores the 360 and PS3 get all 3 editions reg, Hardened and Prestige. It doesn't help when that kid 402 that works for IW praises the 360 like its the only thing in life, the thing that burns my "A" is that its the PC that got CoD where its at today if us the PC world would have turned are noses at CoD there would have never gotten to a expansion pack, when the big gaming companies do BS like this they send a message "WE JUST DON'T CARE" Thank you Activision and IW for remembering where your roots come from!!
Even if you don't want the Hardened Edition we should still have the option we are just as inportant as the console kiddies.:hand:

I can live without those editions.

My only concern is what else won't the PC get? Mod tools? A good console port?

You maybe able to live without it but this is the start what will be next, they have to be stopped before it gets to far.

Give me the game for $49USD or less and I'm happy. Charge the console kiddies more to cover the cost :)

I would rather fight for mod tools and mapping tools.

I would rather fight for the life of PC gaming at all in the future. PC gaming is going down the drain fast. Back when I was younger I thought that gaming on a PC was retarded because you had to use a keyboard and mouse but then I grew up. Today I can't imagine playing something like COD with a god awful joystick on a huge clunky controller like the 360 uses.

PC games used to be the ultimate experience in terms of graphics and sound having hardware that far surpassed that of any console on the market. However today consoles are starting to catch up to the PC in terms of hardware and the price for a console is right around what it would cost for a good graphics card for your PC and maybe a couple of sticks of ram to boost your rig if needed.

That paired with the fact that there are far more consoles in the average household than there are gaming PCs we end up filling only a fraction of the market. In the end it's all about money so even though we spend more on hardware we have fewer games each year to use that hardware because the cheaper more common console brings the game companies more money.
